Welcome on the official website of 911E.V.A.C.!

911 E.V.A.C. is an emergency vehicle club set up by myself in 1998 to unite all owners and enthusiasts of American emergency vehicles in the UK.

The initial idea came from watching TV shows in the 1980's with the car chases that always ensued, and I decided there and then that I wanted to get an old American patrol car to be different.

Upon the purchase of a 1978 Chevrolet Impala NYPD unit in 1998 there followed a lot of interest from the local press and TV studios and I ended up with articles in local and national Scottish newspapers and an interview on the Grampian TV news.

Shortly afterwards I was contacted by another member near Glasgow to say that he had a similar vehicle and knew a few others that also owned American police vehicles.

Hence my decision to link us all under one banner and show ourselves as an organised club...

Since those days we now have over 80 members all over the UK, Netherlands, France, Germany & USA and many contacts in Police, Sheriff, Fire & EMS divisions in the United States who are always willing to help us out.
Many members attend shows around the country for local Police forces and charity events and we all have a great time doing it. Derek C Page, President
